Apartment

This air conditioned apartment consists of 2 large double bedrooms, with plenty of wardrobe and storage space and is serviced by a good sized, shared bathroom with a shower.

There is a large lounge with a LCD 37" Sony TV with some 40 CATV programmes that include BBC World & Prime plus a Hollywood film channel - a DVD/CD player is also provided. In addition you will find comfortable seating around a coffee table. Off the adjacent dining area is a wide balcony where you can soak up the afternoon sun.

'Grab Handles' have been fitted around the bath/shower area with a non-slip bath mat for everyone's safety. We are very keen that all have a great time with minimal chance of accidents no matter if you are very fit or perhaps have limited mobility. In addition there are good wheelchair entrances to the building plus lifts that take you directly to the apartment on the 1st floor and to the underground garage. The apartment has level tiled flooring throughout.

Sharing the patio doors leading to this balcony is a well equipped kitchen with a full sized fridge/freezer, Siemens Oven, electric hob, electric kettle, toaster, microwave oven with grill and a Siemens washing machine. 

There is an adjacent dining area furnished with a dining table with chairs. In addtion the apartment has a separate lounge area with plenty of seating and balcony furniture has also been provided.

Drying facilities are available in the bathroom and on one of the balcony areas. All European Mobile phones (GSM) work very well from the apartment, and the Reception can connect any land based calls you may wish to make.

Broadband ADSL Internet access can be rented in 2 ways, either  - hard-wired, take your laptop over the square to an Internet Cafe where they charge around 2 Euro an hour or spend 20 Euros during your whole stay for 24 hour wireless access via a USB plug-in local Portuguese Vodafone network Dongle - that will be loaned to you by Jackie with 10 Euros usage time already loaded.

The apartment is cleaned and laundered towels and bed linen changed for each party. New occupants are invited to arrive after 4pm on the first day whilst departure is by 10am on the last day to allow time for  changeover preparations.

Keys on loan will be for entrance to the main building, the Apartment underground car park/lift area and a personal safe in the apartment. In addition during your stay you will have a pre-paid pass for the on-site private swimming pool. An inventory plus information on the appliances etc. can be found in a drawer of the sideboard in the main living area. The electricity supply is 220 volts 50Hz, so UK appliances will work well with a Portuguese (Southern European) socket adaptor.
